Quilpie Hotel Motel - Experience outback hospitality and a slice of history
The Quilpie Hotel Motel is located in the main street of Quilpie, a town in south west Queensland. The building dates back to 1926 and was built by local identity Jimmy Corones.  It is often referred to as 'The Brick'.

The Quilpie Hotel Motel has been renovated in the style the hotel was built in and offers guests modern conveniences. The ensuited rooms have been refitted with new furniture and décor.

The Quilpie Hotel Motel has a relaxing lounge area where guests can relax and watch TV and enjoy complementary tea and coffee.  There are wonderful views from the verandah on the second floor, why not check out the  spectacular western sunset?

A tour booking desk for Skinny Dingo Tours has also been established at the hotel. They offer tours to Lake Eyre, Birdsville and Innamincka. It also takes bookings for the Outback Mail Run which operate out of the Channel Country Tourist Park, also located in Quilpie. If you would like to do the mail run tour and you are staying at the hotel we can arrange for you to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel.

In addition the Hotel is the local booking agent for Queensland Rail.  Guests travelling by rail can enjoy the refurbished lounge area prior to departure.  Why not grab lunch or a snack from Heinemann's Cafe, located just next door.
